It's safe to say your dog would never allow you to be caged or sleep alone in a cell while they were away. This is why I offer the perfect alternative!

My home is cage free and set up well as a safe, healthy, and fun environment for dogs to call their own. Guests are never confined to a small space or deprived luxuries of home. They have constant supervision and free access to a large and secure backyard that is fully fenced and super doggy proof. 

I board only one family at a time and keep small daycare groups limited to those who conduct themselves with respect for others. All spaces and shared items are sanitized daily or more as needed. Current immunizations and overall health of all guests are confirmed before their first visit and updated regularly.

Hi! My name is Amber. I have been a trusted pet care provider in South Hill for over 9 years in addition to 19 years of prior experience as a licensed animal healthcare professional.

I understand it may be unnerving to rely on someone else to take care of your fur-baby. But, that is what I do and what I am here for! My focus is to establish and maintain client relationships based on trust, confidence, and mutual respect.

• Who will be around my dog(s)?

My loving household includes my husband of 26 years and our two boys.

• Is it sanitary to bring my dog to daycare?

All spaces and shared items are sanitized daily or more as needed. 

• Will my dog be in danger of catching communicable diseases or parasites at daycare?

Current immunizations and overall health of all guests are confirmed before their first visit. 

• Where will my dog sleep when staying at Doggy-Diggz?

I aim to keep their routine as close to home as possible. Therefore, it is my policy to have guests sleep where they normally would at home, (e.g., dog bed, people bed, couch, etc).

• Can I bring my dog to daycare if they are not well socialized?

I keep my groups very small and do not accept aggressive dogs to be in group settings. If there are mild behavioral issues, we can often overcome with techniques and methods learned through my years of education and experience.
